How did you feel when you were at Hope for Kittens, especially spending time with your dog friend, Jung, and the lady who took care of you? Did you think you'd find a forever home?
Oh, it was an amazing crew! Jung and I were like Batman and Robin – I was the little, brave one, and he was the big protector! Honestly, I thought I’d stay there forever, but when they called me to join a new family, I knew – it was time to expand my adventures!
When you left the shelter and joined your new family, what surprised you the most about your new life?
I thought Jung was big, but this is a whole new level! Now I have an entire bed to myself (although I don’t share it) and an endless amount of toys. The biggest surprise? People adore me like I’m some kind of Instagram star... oops, I am!
Your name is Jam now, but do you think you'll ever forget your old name, Pekmez?
Haha, Pekmez! Honestly, Jam suits me better because I’m now smoother than ever. Pekmez was sweet, but Jam? That’s a superpower level!
Now that you’re adopted, how important is it for you to have Akira, your new husky friend? How do you two get along?
Akira and I are like a cartoon duo! She’s big and snowy white, and I’m small and black – we’re totally cool! You could say she’s as calm as an angel, and I’m the little devil! Haha!
Do you have any special game you love to play with Akira? What’s it like to have a dog as a best friend?
Akira loves to chase, and I love being chased! We run around the house; I hide under the bed, and she waits outside for me – she always catches me eventually, but I’ll never admit that to her!
How do you like your life as a happily adopted kitty in your new home? How do you feel about your new family?
There’s nothing better! Now I have everything a kitty could wish for – a cozy home, attention, and treats. And here’s a secret – I get the best food ever!
When you settle down in a box, what goes through your mind?
Hmm, I think of myself as a secret agent on a mission! The box is my base, and the apartment is my territory. I’m planning my conquest – one leap at a time!
How do you feel when people admire your adventures on Instagram? Do you feel like a true star among cats?
Oh, totally! I usually play it cool, but when I see all those likes and comments, my heart skips a beat. I think I’m in the right business – maybe I’ll even get my own show someday.
As a true little panther, how do you prepare for an attack?
I go slow and graceful, like a real pro! I hide, watch my target, and then hop! Every jump is perfect, like in an action movie – I think I might need to open a school for little panthers once I grow up a bit more.
What adventures do you have planned for the future?
The plan is simple: conquer the world of boxes and keep exploring with Akira. I haven’t yet found the biggest box in the world to scratch to infinity (scratchers are boring, right?), but when I do, maybe I’ll throw a party in there – just for cats, of course! And with Akira, I plan to explore every corner of the house until we discover the secret stash of treats.
